Afghanistan seeks Pakistan’s sincere efforts in war on terror
Officials from Afghanistan, United States and Pakistan in two separate meetings in Kabul discussed the fight against ISIS militants through Afghanistan-Pakistan bilateral military cooperation. The meetings were held at the Ministry of Defense on Thursday.
A six-member high-level military delegation from Pakistan, led by Director General Military Operations Pakistan Army, Major General Sahir Shamshad Mirza represented Islamabad at the meetings. The officials from the two countries reiterated their commitments to continue fight against the common threat of terrorism.  Mutual security interests and concerns in this respect were also highlighted at the meetings.
According to media reports the three sides expressed their commitment to uproot Daesh from the region, which can best be achieved through information sharing, complementary efforts and enhanced cooperation.
In a separate bilateral meeting, Afghan and Pakistani officials discussed important issues on cross-Durand Line incursions, counter-terrorism, coordinated actions against respective side along the Durand Line and detainees’ exchange.
The media reports saying that the two sides agreed to make progress in line with the commitments made at recent high-level meetings and formulate an action plan, which will contribute towards improving security along the Durand Line through enhanced cooperation.
Trust building between the neighbors is needed for peace and prosperity in both countries. History bears witness that the brave people of Afghanistan have never been defeated and they can beat terrorism as well if they would be cooperated by the neighboring countries, in particular Pakistan.
Afghanistan and Pakistan need to give up petty disputes for the bright future of coming generations. People on both sides of the border have to realize that their future existence is dependent on the restoration of peace, and they can win the war on terror only if they are united. They need to defeat enemies who are threatening the foundation of both countries. It is the need of the time to wage a joint war to defeat terrorism in all its forms and shapes.
The history and experience of the past three decades has proven positive affects in our region and has suffered nearly from four decades of war and conflicts, but it is believed that peace in the region and most importantly for all of us assembled here in Afghanistan and Pakistan is eminently attainable.
Supporting the peace talks and encouraging the militants to negotiation would give  the people of the both countries a great hope and it is needed to redouble sincere efforts so that to help realize the noble and rightful aspiration of millions of the citizens for a life of peace, security, dignity and prosperity
Afghanistan has given more sacrifices in war on terror and this war is still going on. The neighboring countries should help Afghanistan for restoration of reliable peace and security. While Afghanistan has established friendly relations with all countries of the world and it is required that the neighbors, especially Pakistan once again make serious and sincere efforts in this direction, as without partnership of Pakistan no peace process will succeed.

I have read this news that Afghanistan seeks Pakistan’s sincere efforts in war on terror. I do not know why people think of a war. I wonder that why people kill each other in the name of religion and peace. Peace would not come in that way.
